Advertising Policy
Current Online Advertising Status
JISDS does not currently publish or display commercial advertisements. The journal's editorial content, peer review, and publication decisions are independent of advertising or promotional considerations.
1. Current Advertising Practice
JISDS does not currently accept commercial advertising on its journal website or within published scholarly articles.
2. Editorial Independence
Advertising, if introduced in the future, will not influence editorial assessment, reviewer selection, peer review, acceptance, rejection, correction, retraction, or any other editorial decision. Editors and reviewers will not be asked to make decisions on the basis of advertising relationships or revenue.
3. Separation from Published Content
Any future advertising will be clearly distinguishable from editorial and scholarly content and will not be presented in a way that could mislead readers into believing that JISDS or CRI endorses an advertised product, service, organisation, or claim.
4. Future Advertising Decisions
If JISDS introduces advertising in the future, decisions about whether advertising is acceptable will be made separately from editorial decisions. The journal will update this policy to state the types of advertising considered, the decision-making responsibility, and any applicable placement or behavioural-targeting rules before such advertising is accepted.
5. Conflicts of Interest
Any actual or potential conflict of interest arising from an advertising relationship will be managed so that the independence and integrity of the editorial process are protected.

Current Online Advertising Status
Because JISDS does not currently accept commercial advertising, it does not currently use advertiser-directed behavioural targeting or link editorial decisions to advertising activity. If advertising is introduced, the policy will be updated before implementation.
